Black Tea
Black tea (红茶 Hóng Chá), technically called red tea in Chinese, is tea that has been intentionally oxidised during the processing, turning the leaves dark brown and red. The flavours are often fruity or like rich chocolate, with intensified body and fragrance. When brewed, black tea yields a light orange, ruby red, or even dark brown liquid, depending on the strength. Chinese black tea is often quite different to Western-style black teas, and is typically more soft, sweet, and fragrant.
