Handmade Dehua Porcelain Tea Pitcher

This ceramic tea pitcher (公道杯 gōng dào bēi or 茶海 chá hǎi) is made from fine Dehua porcelain, giving it a characteristically creamy bone-white hue and slight translucency when held up to the light.

Each pitcher is handmade and thrown on the wheel resulting in subtle variations in size, shape, and glaze. The pitchers have a remarkably simple and sleek cylindrical profile that widens slightly at the mouth, with a small curved spout that pours excellently. The body is pleasantly thick and evenly weighted, making these pitchers easy to pour from and comfortable to hold in the hand.

Each pitcher can hold approximately 250ml of brewed tea.
