Esprit de Corp: 2025 Membership
We're excited to offer membership to our 2025 Esprit de Corp tea club.
By signing up for an annual membership, you’ll receive exclusive teas and teaware in 2 shipments across the year. These products represent the cutting edge of our research and experimentation in the Yunnan mountains, and the outputs of our best minds in the hardware division. You'll also receive other benefits detailed below.
Membership to 2025 Esprit de Corp is strictly limited to 100 places
Our inaugural 2023 Esprit de Corp was launched with a limited capacity of 50 memberships. In response to extreme demand following its first year, 2024 Esprit de Corp was released with an increased membership of 75 spots in total.
From this year onwards, all future Esprit de Corp memberships will have an absolute limit of 100 places. This allows us to appropriately handle the logistics involved, and most importantly, to continue to press enough of each tea produced for the club — some tea tree groves only produce 20 to 30kg of material in total each spring!
What you'll receive in Esprit de Corp
For the 2025 club, we plan to continue pressing unique, no-compromise puerh tea cakes, and offer unique and useful teaware and accessories, that will serve you well in any scenario. Any hardware we produce will also complement any existing teaware pieces from past years of the club, if you have them.
Membership to 2025 Esprit de Corp includes:

Three exclusive, experimental, and premium 200g pu-erh tea cakes comprised of two raw pu-erhs and one ripe pu-erh

One piece of custom teaware, different from previous years of the club
- At least one other tea accessory
- Two printed zines with visual and textual documentation of our behind-the-scenes processes and inspirations
All teas pressed for Esprit de Corp follow an ethos of being high-end (i.e. old-tree), experimental, unique productions that we could not easily produce for mainstream retail and purchase.
Most importantly, none of the teas or other items from Esprit de Corp will be available outside of the club - they are all one-off productions made exclusively for members that year. If you're a committed pu-erh drinker, sign up and come along for the ride.
When you'll receive the packages
The first shipment will be as soon as possible after the spring season in Yunnan, comprising of a premium 200g raw pu-erh cake along with an accompanying zine and other goodies. We estimate this will be sent out in June.
The second shipment will be toward the end of the year and will contain the remaining 2 pu-erh cakes (comprised of one raw and one ripe), as well as teaware, and the final accompanying zine. We estimate this will be sent out in November.

First rights for renewing membership in 2026
As a 2025 member, you'll be among the first to be notified when next year's Esprit de Corp memberships are released. This means that you'll get a head start at signing up before the EDC memberships are released to the general public; safeguarding your place in next year's membership list.

Membership Terms and Conditions
Only one membership per person with a hard limit of 100 memberships per year. Please note that you can purchase additional memberships as gifts, please leave a note at checkout. Membership is not refundable, transferrable, or cancellable once purchased. If there are any issues with shipments (i.e non-delivery, damaged goods, etc) we will ensure replacement and re-delivery with no added cost.
Membership does not auto-renew, so you won’t be automatically billed or signed up for next year's tea club membership. We will get in touch directly with existing members at the start of 2026 with the first offer to renew, and if any spots open up we will release those memberships for purchase to the general public on our online store. Once membership is purchased, we will be in touch with more information on what to expect, as well as instructions on how to set up your membership details.
Any variations in Esprit de Corp pricing is based on the shipping address country at checkout. This accounts for the difference in shipping costs to each particular location, as shipping a package from Australia to an international address - for example in Europe - will cost more than shipping the very same package domestically, within Australia.
Over the past three editions of Esprit de Corp, we worked with local artists to create custom, one-of-kind ceramic teaware that together form a complete gongfucha set. This year marks the first Esprit de Corp to be solely focussed on tea; with more tea and more variety than ever before.

- Four exclusive, experimental, and premium 200g tea cakes comprised of 2 raw puerhs, one ripe puerh, and one other non-puerh Chinese tea (i.e white tea, black tea...)
- Two printed zines with visual and textual documentation of our behind-the-scenes processes and inspiration, including our travels in Yunnan, sourcing, production, and experimentation.
- A little secret something else... you'll have to wait and see.

Chaos and other unexpected changes in global logistics and postal services notwithstanding, this will be sent out in June or July.
The second shipment will be toward the end of the year and will contain the second 200g raw puerh cake, a 200g ripe puerh cake, and the final accompanying zine. We estimate this will be sent out in November.
Both shipments are delivered with free shipping worldwide including tracking. As we approach each shipment date, we will provide an email update to all members confirming the exact shipping timelines including any delays or changes.

Once you've joined, you will receive a code in the welcome email that you can use for free shipping on any orders you place that you'd like to hold and combine with upcoming tea club shipments.
