Esprit de Corp: 2024 Membership
We're excited to offer membership for the 2024 tea club, continuing in the same vein as 2023 and continuing to evolve.
Similar to last year, the club will involve at least 3 200g tea cakes, and at least two pieces of teaware, split into two deliveries over the year, with accompanying printed zines and other goodies.
Membership is capped at 50 places.
The 2024 club will contain three 200g tea cakes, as well as other benefits, divided into two deliveries over the year as detailed below.
We will aim to press a single 200g raw puer cake in the spring for the first package, and the other two teas will be determined by the conditions this year—they could be another raw or ripe puer, or perhaps some white or black teas. We will see what the season holds. Similarly for the accessories, we have a few ideas in the pipeline—maybe another cup, though from a different artist and entirely different to the 2023 cup—but this year won't be a repeat. Our goal is to provide complementary items that add to the overall set from 2023.

The two shipments will be broken down as follows:
Shipment one, delivered after spring tea season:
- One 200g raw puer cake
- One tea accessory
Shipment two, delivered toward the end of the year:
- Two 200g tea cakes (may be a mix of raw, ripe, white, or black tea)
- One tea accessory
Important Information:
We will send you an initial welcome email detailing additional information such as how to update your membership address in case you move through the year, as well as updates about upcoming shipments. When each shipment is ready to be sent, we will first email you to confirm you are ready to receive it and your details are up to date, so please ensure you have access to the email account you sign up with so we can contact you throughout the year.
Membership Terms and Conditions
Only one membership per-person, and a hard limit of 50 memberships. Note: you can purchase additional memberships as gifts, please leave a note at checkout.
Membership is not refundable, transferrable, or cancellable once purchased. Of course, if there is any issues with shipments i.e non-delivery, damaged goods etc. we will ensure replacement.
Membership does not auto-renew, so you won’t be automatically charged for the next year or anything like that. We will get in touch directly with existing members at the start of 2025 with the first offer to renew, and if any spots open up we will release those on the store.
Once purchased we will be in touch with more information about what to expect, as well as to set up your membership details. Thanks to all of our customers for the support over the years.
Over the past three editions of Esprit de Corp, we worked with local artists to create custom, one-of-kind ceramic teaware that together form a complete gongfucha set. This year marks the first Esprit de Corp to be solely focussed on tea; with more tea and more variety than ever before.
Membership to 2026 Esprit de Corp includes:
- Four exclusive, experimental, and premium 200g tea cakes comprised of 2 raw puerhs, one ripe puerh, and one other non-puerh Chinese tea (i.e white tea, black tea...)
- Two printed zines with visual and textual documentation of our behind-the-scenes processes and inspiration, including our travels in Yunnan, sourcing, production, and experimentation.
- A little secret something else... you'll have to wait and see.
All teas pressed for Esprit de Corp follow an ethos of being high-end (i.e old-tree), experimental, unique productions that we could not easily produce for mainstream retail.
Most importantly, none of the teas or other items from Esprit de Corp will be available outside of the club – they are all one-off productions made exclusively for members that year. If you're a committed puerh drinker, sign up and come along for the ride.
The first shipment will be as soon as possible after the spring season in Yunnan, comprising of one premium 200g raw puerh cake along with a 200g cake of a different type of Chinese tea, and accompanying zine and other goodies. Chaos and other unexpected changes in global logistics and postal services notwithstanding, this will be sent out in June or July.
The second shipment will be toward the end of the year and will contain the second 200g raw puerh cake, a 200g ripe puerh cake, and the final accompanying zine. We estimate this will be sent out in November.
Both shipments are delivered with free shipping worldwide including tracking. As we approach each shipment date, we will provide an email update to all members confirming the exact shipping timelines including any delays or changes.

As a 2026 member, you'll be among the first to be notified when next year's Esprit de Corp memberships are released. This means that you'll get a head start at signing up before any memberships are released to the general public; safeguarding your place in next year's membership list. - Our sincere gratitude

Any variations in Esprit de Corp pricing is based on the shipping address country at checkout. This accounts for the difference in shipping costs to each particular location, as shipping a package from Australia to an international address - for example in Europe - will cost more than shipping the very same package domestically within Australia. There may also be minor variation to the price based on currency conversion between Australian Dollars (AUD) and the local currency for your shipping location.
Please note; the initial purchase of Esprit de Corp does not count toward the free shipping threshold for other items in your cart, as it will ship separately.
Once you've joined, you will receive a code in the welcome email that you can use for free shipping on any orders you place that you'd like to hold and combine with upcoming tea club shipments.
