Have you ever wondered what raw puerh tea tastes like when it's extremely fresh, before the tea leaves are pressed into a cake?
Join us for a special tea tasting of raw puerh máochá (毛茶) - 'roughly finished' tea - sourced during our recent trip to Yunnan for the 2026 spring tea season. The maocha was picked and processed only a matter of weeks ago—fresh!
During the tasting, we'll brew 3 high-quality raw puerh teas from different regions and tree ages. We'll talk about the teas and their production, share our experiences in the tea mountains this year, and answer everyone’s burning questions.
The tasting will run for 1.5 hours, with additional time afterwards for any retail purchases.
Each tea tasting session is limited to a maximum of 6 guests.
Light snacks will be provided. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when making your booking.
The tasting will be held at our headquarters located at 215-217 Abbotsford St, North Melbourne, Victoria, 3051.

All of the teas contain caffeine.
We strongly recommend ensuring you have something to eat before the tasting begins, as drinking tea on an empty stomach can be uncomfortable. Trust us!
A gender-neutral bathroom will be available, however it is unfortunately not accessible. If you have any accessibility requirements or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
If you cannot attend your booking as planned, please let us know with at least 24 hours of notice before your scheduled start time, so that we can arrange for a reschedule (where possible) or refund.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours may incur a fee.
