Hand-hammered Pewter Teacup Saucer

These silver toned saucers are hand hammered in Taiwan giving each piece its own unique character and patina that reflects light beautifully.

As an alloy of tin, copper, and antimony, pewter is a relatively soft and malleable metal with pleasing acoustic qualities; meaning that cups make a gentle sound when placed onto the saucers.

In terms of shape, these saucers are rectangular with rounded corners that curve upwards to gently encase a teacup and any spilt tea. Under bright light, these saucers cast a subtle gleam on nearby objects - most obviously on lighter coloured teaware - making them ideal for our Dehua porcelain teacups

Please note: Each purchase is for a single saucer.
