2024 Spring Collection

Our 2024 Spring Collection of new puerh teas is online now. 

Finally, we have several new raw and ripe puerh teas, ready for your drinking pleasure. But before we go into our thoughts on, and ideas behind this year's collection, first, a short 4k video from our sponsors (us).

Another year of dry weather means another year of strong, concentrated teas. We spent just over four months of the year in China and Taiwan — hiking, steeping, tasting, sweating, and not sleeping.

There's something for everyone, whether you've been eagerly awaiting to return of KUURA-Cola, or you just want the Good Stuff. As always, we chose to make teas close to our own hearts—a reflection of our drinking desires. There was excellent material to be found this year, although in almost every case, less weight than usual. The local market was less competitive than usual, meaning for the first time in many years, there was truly some deals to be had—our selection this year represents excellent value for money, in our humble opinion of course.

This year's wrappers feature some fantastic artwork from long-time collaborators ERODUCTIONS, Jon Marshall, and Sprinks. We spent some extra time this year experimenting with unique papers for each of the wrappers. There is of course, some hand-made mulberry bark paper, traditionally produced by local Dai people for hundreds of years — as well as some novel textures like the thick paper infused with a grid of threads used for our 2024 'Optic' Raw Puerh Tea.
