Black Fairness Cup by Minna Graham

This spouted pitcher or fairness cup (公道杯 gōngdào bēi) comes in a dark iron glaze and has a satin finish. The inner and outer walls of this pitcher share the same dark brown-black glaze giving this piece a stark elegance.

The pitcher has a subtly flared profile that rises from a pentagonal base. The pitcher spout is perpendicular to the body and sits at a slightly downturned angle to aid in smooth pouring. Each pitcher has an average capacity of 140ml or 160ml if filled to edge of the spout.
