2021 'Prismo' Raw Pu-erh Tea
This complex raw puerh blend is a distillation of our explorations and learnings in the world of Yunnan tea thus far. Southern Yunnan has some of the most unique and interesting tea growing environments you can find, and the material selected for this blend all comes from diverse, vibrant areas of forest that really hammer home how lucky we are to be able to drink the leaves harvested there.
This raw puerh is highly fragrant, thick and rich in the mouth, and has a lot of silky texture along with long-lasting flavour and sweetness. A very dynamic tea from steep to steep, and with a lot of endurance. A great tea to explore what the old-growth tea trees of Yunnan are all about.
As with all of our productions, we made this tea selfishly for our own tastes and enjoyment; we hope you enjoy it too.
Spring 2021 material from across Yunnan. 5 cakes per traditionally wrapped bamboo tong.

We recommend approx 1g of tea per 15ml of water for Gongfu-style brewing in a teapot or gaiwan. Rinse the leaves once and then brew several times until there is no flavour left.
For Western-style brewing in a larger teapot, use approx. 5g per 100ml of water. You can re-brew the leaves a few times.
To brew direct in a mug, use 1-2g of tea in the bottom of the cup, fill with boiling water, and drink once cool. Re-fill the cup with more water when you've drunk 1/3rd of the tea. Repeat until there is no more flavour left.
All of our teas are suitable for long-term storage and aging.
Keep your tea away from sunlight and strong smells, and somewhere with stable climate conditions.
You can keep it sealed inside the re-usable bag the tea comes in, or another non-porous container.
