Handmade Dehua Porcelain Tea Pitcher

This ceramic tea pitcher (公道杯 gōng dào bēi or 茶海 chá hǎi) is made from fine Dehua porcelain, giving it a characteristically creamy bone-white hue and slight translucency when held up to bright light. This pitcher is cylindrical and slightly flared at the top, with a gently curved spout that pours excellently. 

Each pitcher is handmade and thrown on the wheel, resulting in subtle variations in size, shape, and glaze. Its body is smooth and even, with a pleasant thickness and weight that's very comfortable to hold in the hand. As these pitchers are made in Taiwan by the same artist behind our Dehua porcelain teacups, they pair together beautifully. 

Each pitcher can hold approximately 250ml of brewed tea.
