After field-testing all the different versions we could get our hands on, this travel teaware set stood out above them all, as we felt it provided the best functionality.

Other sets had weird quirks such as; different sized cups, non-glass pitchers, or a non-standard gaiwan.

This set includes:

75ml porcelain gaiwan (light blue colour)
Glass fair cup (pitcher)
Four stackable 40ml porcelain teacups (light blue colour)
Small tea table cloth to catch water spills (navy blue)
Drawstring cloth bag to protect teacups
Zipper case with padded foam inserts

We've also included an option to add on a set of tea samples, to create a one-stop introductory kit for getting into Chinese tea.

The tea sample pack includes two 5g samples of each of the following teas:

This lets you sample 6 different teas, representing at least a tea from every category of Chinese tea. The 5g size means you don't need scales; just use the whole sample which is perfect for the 75ml capacity of the gaiwan. Two samples of each tea gives you a second chance to brew.

Cool note: you can also add one of our Metal Leaf tea strainers to catch any small bits of tea while brewing; it fits seamlessly inside the zip case.
